Disha Arogya Dham is a leading charity in India working for the underprivileged with cancer, HIV, mental disorders, kidney failure, and drug de-addiction for almost 9 years. It was established in 2014 and is registered under Societies Registration Act 1958. There are an estimated million cancer patients in India.
DAD advocates cancer treatment and health care with universal quality, action against cancer abuse, and many other needs at the national, state, and societal levels with other institutions and the central and state governments.
We advocate for sinusitis and migraine-friendly policies and their implementation. We have collaborated with Sinusitis Migraine and Untreatable Diseases Research Association to Make India Disease Free (SMUDRA) and work with them to understand the needs of sinusitis and migraine patients.
It aims to meet the treatment needs of sinusitis and migraine patients in India in a holistic manner, thereby enabling them to lead active, dignified, and healthy lives.
Over the years the focus of DADNGO has shifted from welfare to development. It provides relief to the elderly through various age care interventions such as - It runs one of the largest mobile healthcare programs across the country through Ayurveda and Naturopathy Chikitsalaya, Mobile Healthcare Units, which provides free healthcare to needy, poor patients and destitute elders, we help elders to earn their livelihood through formation of Elder-Self. Self-help groups are becoming self-reliant, it conducts cataract surgeries to restore their vision, take care of their basic needs through their Support-a-Grain program, run elderly helplines across the country, Provide relief and rehabilitation for the elderly after disasters, and facilitate active aging.
All donations made to DADNGO India are eligible for a 50% tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
